Robotic solution to streamline packaging, and loading in petrochemical industries

Engineers from an Iranian knowledge-based company have introduced a robotic system for automated packaging and loading of petrochemical products, promising significant time savings.

Mohsen Kazemi Moghadam, a researcher at the company, highlighted the system’s capabilities, stating, “Our innovation offers fully automated solutions for packaging and loading petrochemical packages.”

He noted that this technology reduces loading times from 45 minutes to just 15 minutes, addressing a critical bottleneck in the petrochemical sector.

The company has already signed an agreement with Kermanshah Petrochemical Industries Company to implement and design this system for their operations.

Kazemi Moghadam added that the robotic loader is not limited to petrochemicals but can also be applied across various production lines. “Our new project involves designing a system for loading goods into fully enclosed customs containers,” he explained.

According to him, unlike the current system designed for open-bed trucks, the new model incorporates telescopic and rail-based mechanisms for more efficient stacking within enclosed containers.

This innovation could further reduce loading times by up to one-third, offering a transformative solution for industries dependent on efficient logistics, he added.
