Iranian trade delegation attends Nano Tech Japan 2025

An Iranian trade delegation, supported by the Headquarters for the Development of Nano and Micro Technologies and the Organization for International Scientific and Technological Cooperation, participated in the 24th International Nanotechnology Exhibition, also known as Nano Tech 2025, in Tokyo, Japan.
According to the Communications and Information Center of Iran’s Vice-Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy, the event, held in February 2025, showcased advancements in nanomaterials, nanodevices, and industrial applications, attracting global companies and research institutions.
The delegation explored exhibition booths and engaged in specialized meetings with international firms to discuss collaboration, knowledge transfer, and commercialization of Iranian nanotechnology products.
They also visited Japan’s leading scientific centers, including the Japan Science Foundation (JSF) and the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), to explore potential partnerships in advanced research and innovation.
Furthermore, the delegation met with Iran’s ambassador to Japan to discuss strategies for enhancing technological cooperation, increasing scientific and commercial ties, and supporting Iranian knowledge-based companies in the Japanese market.
A city tour of Tokyo provided opportunities for informal networking and a deeper understanding of Japan’s business environment.
