Iranian tech firm produces FIFA-approved artificial turf with local innovation

An Iranian knowledge-based company has successfully developed artificial turf that meets FIFA’s international standards, using locally developed technology and formulations.
According to the Center for Communications and Information of the Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy, Termeh Chaman, a domestic startup, has created artificial grass products tailored for various sports disciplines.
The company’s turf design incorporates specialized formulations and structural features, including changes in shape, thickness, length, and physical, mechanical, and chemical properties, to suit different athletic requirements.
Over the past two years, the company has optimized its product quality and expanded its offerings to suit diverse climates, including tropical, cold, and temperate regions. The newly designed turf systems are adaptable across different sports and environmental conditions.
Leveraging its high product quality, Termeh Chaman has expanded into international markets, attracting clients from across the Caspian Sea region to the Persian Gulf.
With over a decade of experience, the firm is currently the only knowledge-based company in Iran commercially manufacturing artificial turf. It continues to invest in R&D, workforce development, and value chain optimization as part of its mission to strengthen domestic production and international competitiveness.
