Inaugural intl. creative fashion, clothing exhibition commences in Tehran

The inaugural international event and exhibition showcasing creative fashion and clothing officially commenced in Iran’s Innovation and Technology House in Tehran. 

Mohammad Mahdi Esmaili, the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, inaugurated the event, which will be open to visitors until October 18.

Organized under the auspices of the Cultural and Soft Technologies Development Headquarters of the Vice President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy, this exhibition highlights various aspects of the fashion and clothing industry. 

Key focal points include clothing and textile design, character creation and modeling for promotion and education, digital marketing, health-oriented clothing, and artificial intelligence.

Masoud Hasanlou, the secretary of the cultural and soft technologies development headquarters, emphasized the technological and innovative approach embedded in Iran’s fashion and clothing industry. 

He underscored the need to create an ecosystem for creative and knowledge-based companies to drive the industry forward, promoting collaboration and innovation.

Hasanlou highlighted that this exhibition serves as a vital platform for key players in the clothing industry to convene, engage in B2B negotiations, and showcase their achievements. 

Hasanlou identified fabric, fashion, and fashion design as primary domains occupied by knowledge-based companies in this sector.
