Iranian student, school teams shine at FIRA 2025 in South Korea

Iranian representatives achieved remarkable success at the 30th World Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Competition (FIRA 2025), securing five championships, four runner-up titles, and two third-place finishes across multiple leagues and categories.
The prestigious event was held in Busan, South Korea, bringing together top robotics teams from around the world.
Iranian student and school teams, supported by the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology, showcased the country’s scientific and technical prowess on the international stage.
The Iranian teams clinched gold in several key categories, including the Student Fast Flying Robots League (Team Negarash Rastaajoo), the Student Sports Robots Under-19 League (Team Salam Dibaji Robotics), the Urban Autonomous Vehicle Adult Division (Team Hades), as well as the Innovation and Business League in both the adult and under-14 divisions.
In addition to these championships, Iranian teams also won silver and bronze in various autonomous vehicle, innovation and business, and student sports robotics categories, demonstrating a wide breadth of expertise and creativity.
The FIRA 2025 World Championships, held alongside an international symposium showcasing the latest advancements in robotics and artificial intelligence, hosted hundreds of teams from numerous countries. The event provided a competitive yet scientific environment in which cutting-edge innovations and technologies were introduced and celebrated.
