Iran outlines pathways for knowledge-based firms to enter Pakistan market at 7th Future Opportunity forum

Strategies for facilitating the entry of Iranian knowledge-based and technology companies into Pakistan’s market were presented at the seventh “Future Opportunity” forum, held on November 17 in Tehran’s House of Innovation and Technology.
According to the Iranian Vice-Presidency for Science, Technology and the Knowledge-Based Economy, the event brought together senior officials, business leaders and exporters, including Hossein Rouzbeh, President of the Organization for the Development of International Scientific and Technological Cooperation; Touraj Amraei, Deputy for Development of Knowledge-Based Firms; Hamed Rafieian, head of the Center for Finance and Investment; Iran’s ambassador to Pakistan; trade council officials and representatives of several innovative companies.
Rouzbeh described Pakistan as a large and high-demand market with cultural and historical ties to Iran, noting that despite strong affinities, Iran’s economic presence there remains limited.
He stressed the need for aligned policy-making, systematic feedback from exporters and sustained engagement to transform scattered individual successes into a consistent, structured export pathway.
Rouzbeh expressed hope that continued forums will strengthen the international standing of Iranian technology firms, particularly in Pakistan’s emerging market.
