Iran to boost export market for knowledge-based products, services

Iran is to expand the export market for its knowledge-based products and services in cooperation with ten companies specializing in the management of knowledge-based exports.

That was emphasized in a meeting of CEOs of exports management firms with Vice-President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy Rouhollah Dehqani Firouzabadi.

In the session, Dehqani Firouzabadi touched upon the role of exports potential and services in boosting the knowledge-based ecosystem, adding, “Exports management companies are knowledge-based firms operating in the exports arena which, through their experience, expertise and capabilities, can pave the way for the introduction of a new product or service into the market of the target country.”

He said exporting knowledge-based products is regarded as a knowledge-based service and requires expertise.

“As designing and production using technology leads to the development of a knowledge-based product, exporting knowledge-based products is regarded as a knowledge-based service, too,” he added. “The export of products requires a range of expertise and skills whose proper and intelligent utilization will finally see a knowledge-based product or service enter the market of intended countries,” he explained.
