Iran, UNICEF hold meeting on ‘results-based management’

The Iranian vice presidential office for science, technology and knowledge-based economy organized a joint session with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) on Results-Based Management (RBM) in the Iranian capital Tehran.

The main goal of the course, hosted by the UNICEF office in Iran and attended by managers and experts from the vice president’s office, was to create a common language for the formulation of action plans within the framework of the cooperation document and getting to know about the capacities of the UN office.

Assessing the legal framework of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), results-based planning model and the effective implementation of the activities and capacities and the support by UNICEF for innovation among children and adolescents, and successful international experiences in the field were the highlights of the event.

In January, the Iranian vice president’s office and UNICEF signed a document to develop an innovation ecosystem for children and young adults.
