President Pezeshkian at Iran Expo 2025: Trade paves path to peace

Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian has tipped economic cooperation as the foundation for regional peace and security, as reported by the Communications and Information Center of the Iranian Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy.

“Peace and security emerge through trade, investment, and constructive exchanges between nations,” President Pezeshkian declared in his address to the inauguration ceremony at the seventh Iran Expo 2025 exhibition on Monday.

He expressed Iran’s readiness for comprehensive cooperation across scientific, economic, cultural, and political domains with all friendly countries.

The president contrasted international media portrayals of Iran with the visitors’ experience, stating, “What guests witness in Iran differs greatly from foreign media narratives.”

He highlighted Iran’s strategic position as the East-West and North-South crossroad offering diverse opportunities for investors, traders, and tourists.

Addressing global conflicts, President Pezeshkian attributed many tensions to “greed and disregard for nations’ rights,” reaffirming Iran’s commitment to territorial integrity and human principles.

He positioned economic engagement as an antidote to regional instability.

The exhibition serves as a platform for international business partnerships, with the president noting, “Iran takes pride in exchanging expertise, skills, and technology without limitations.”

Over 10,000 knowledge-based companies contribute to Iran’s export sector, particularly in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and energy technologies.

President Pezeshkian personally welcomed foreign delegates, saying, “Your presence strengthens solidarity between nations.”
