INOTEX 2025: Iran-Uzbekistan boost scientific ties through innovation showcase

The INOTEX 2025 exhibition has become a key platform for strengthening scientific and technological cooperation between Iran and Uzbekistan, as officials from both countries emphasized during the event.

According to the Communication and Information Center of the Iranian Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Base, Economy, Jahongir Ustemirov, senior expert at Uzbekistan’s Agency for Innovation Development, highlighted the presentation of 15 innovative products in fields such as healthcare, nanotechnology, agriculture, and ICT.

These products, already exported to several countries, include an industrial additive that improves elasticity and color transparency of metals, as well as advanced nutritional supplements for humans and animals.

Among the featured items was an herbal powder supplement designed to boost immunity, aid digestion, support weight loss, and prevent blood clotting. Made entirely from plant-based ingredients, the formula was developed and manufactured in Uzbekistan.

Ustemirov described INOTEX as a valuable opportunity to connect with Iranian knowledge-based companies and explore cutting-edge technologies.

The event also led to the signing of multiple cooperation agreements, including one between Uzbekistan’s innovation agency and Iran’s Sina Sanat Khavarmiyaneh to develop ICT infrastructure.

The exhibition opened new doors for collaboration, and Uzbekistan looks forward to deeper scientific partnerships with Iran, said Ustemirov, underscoring his country’s commitment to investing across diverse innovation sectors.
