Exports of Iran’s knowledge-based and creative products to untapped markets in Latin America to increase

 Iran’s technological and trade delegation that is on a visit to Venezuela has met with the Islamic Republic’s Ambassador to Caracas Hojatollah Soltani to gain information about easy and suitable ways of enhancing scientific and technological exchanges between the two countries. 

The members of the Iranian delegation and Soltani explored ways of investing in Venezuela and exporting Iranian products to the country and also looked into investment opportunities there. 

Venezuela open to Iranian products  

In the meeting Iran’s ambassador to Caracas said that Venezuela is an untapped and significant market for developing the products of knowledge-based and creative companies. 

Soltani enumerated water, energy, telecommunications, food, mining, agriculture and creative industries as suitable areas for cooperation between Iran and Venezuela. 

Meanwhile, Mehdi Mahdi Ghal’e-Noei, head of the international center for scientific and technological interaction of the office of the Iranian vice president for science and technology, said in the meeting that the Islamic republic’s delegation is the largest one sent for the purpose of expanding exports of knowledge-based and creative products to a foreign country. 

Mahdi Ghal’e-Noei added that at the order of the Venezuelan president, the country’s ministers and companies’ representatives met with the Islamic Republic’s delegation members to pave the way for the export of Iranian products to Venezuela.  

The exhibition of Iran’s knowledge-based products will be inaugurated in Venezuela on Friday in the presence of President Nicolas Maduro.
