INOTEX 2025 wraps up with $2 million in international deals signed

Iran’s INOTEX 2025 innovation expo concluded its four-day run with the signing of six international agreements valued at $2 million, according to Mehdi Safarinia, head of Pardis Technology Park.

According to the Communication and Information Center of the Iranian Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy, Safarinia highlighted the park’s role in promoting competitive product development and commercialization at the closing ceremony.

He noted that over $3.5 billion in private investment has been attracted so far, resulting in 400,000 square meters of R&D space and the creation of 9,000 jobs.

Companies based in the park have exported over €340 million worth of products and developed 2,500 knowledge-based innovations, saving the country an estimated €700 million in import costs over the past year.

Other highlights of the event included a startup pitch competition, with winners recognized during the ceremony, and a large-scale student tour that brought 3,600 students from 54 universities to visit the expo.

Andrei Fursenko, Special Assistant for Innovation and Technology to the Russian President, praised the event as a valuable platform for cross-border dialogue and collaboration, especially in addressing global challenges like food, housing, and environmental sustainability.

The ceremony also featured the unveiling of the INOTEX 2026 poster and the signing of an MoU between Pardis Technology Park and data solutions giant Sadad Holding.
