University of Isfahan, ECO Science Foundation sign cooperation agreement

Iran’s University of Isfahan has signed an agreement on scientific cooperation with the ECO Science Foundation, an intergovernmental organization and a specialized agency of the Economic Cooperation Organization.

Head of Isfahan University Dr. Hossein Harsij highlighted the strategic role of the 10 ECO member states in the region and stressed the need for Iran to work toward internationalizing its universities.

He underscored the determination of Isfahan University, as one of the country’s top education centers, to train specialized and capable human resources for innovation and resolution of the country’s problems and challenges.

Harsij said the university under his watch stands ready for comprehensive cooperation with prestigious and high-level universities of ECO Scientific Foundation member countries.

Afghanistan, Azerbaijan Republic, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Kazakhstan,  Kyrgyzstan, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are member states of ECO.
