Iranian VP: We must boost exports of knowledge-based products

Iranian Vice President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-based Economy Hossein Afshain has called for an increase in the exports of knowledge-based products from Iran to foreign countries. Afshin was speaking at the Scietific andTechnological Park of Khorasan Razavi Province on Saturday.

Thanks to its geographical location, Khorasan Razavi Province can serve as the gateway of exports to the eastern neighbors, Afshain noted.

Meanwhile, the AI Technology Tower is going to be built in 10 floors with each floor covering an area of 2000 square meters. The project is supposed to be launched in 30 months.

The first floor of the building will be used as a permanent exhibition of knowledge-based products, and the other floors will contain 80 offices in different sizes, which will be available to knowledge-based companies.

Afshin said AI is an important issue and the approach of the 14th administration in the field is not one of enterprise but of facilitation, and the government supports the activities of the private sector.

The Iranian vice president also spoke about the activities of more than 600 knowledge-based companies in Khorasan Razavi. He said according to the 7th development plan and the capacities of the province, a decision has been made to increase the number of knowledge-based companies to 2000 companies, but despite the need to increase the number, the focus of technological activity should be maintained in the same way in Khorasan.

During the event, some knowledge-based products were also unveiled including the new product of Exir Kavan Company, an AI analyst that identifies potential customers, the product of Behpouyan Company used for urban water system management, and several other knowledge-based products.
