“Iran ready to share healthcare capabilities with Uzbekistan”

The head of Iran’s International Center for Scientific and Technological Interactions says the Islamic Republic is ready to share its capabilities in the healthcare sector with Uzbekistan. 

Amirhossein Mirabadi made the comment during a visit to Shahmad Hospital in the Uzbek capital Tashkent. Miraabadi said since three months ago, interactions with the Shahmad Hospital began through the agency of Iran’s Innovation and Technology Center in Uzbekistan, and measures have been put in place to recruit healthcare workers and do marketing activity and sell medical equipment. 

He noted that a hemodialysis machine will be set up in the hospital in Uzbekistan with investment by both countries. 

The head of Iran’s International Center for Scientific and Technological Interactions added that this center will provide special support to knowledge-based groups. 

According to Mirabadi, the infrastructure built in Uzbekistan shows that it is possible to do effective work there. 

He stressed that there is a possibility that Iranian experts will work in the healthcare sector of Uzbekistan.
