Iranian petro-tech firms set sights on Chinese market at Shanghai expo

Iranian knowledge-based companies will showcase their latest petrochemical technologies at International Petrojpchemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition in Shanghai, in a major push to expand the country’s footprint in global energy markets.

According to the Communications and Information Center of the Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy, the exhibition, which is considered a specialized event in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries, will be held from June 5-7.

Shanghai, known as China’s industrial and economic hub, will host prominent international companies, industry leaders, and energy specialists focusing on innovative technologies.

Iran’s pavilion, supported by the Innovation and Prosperity Fund, will feature knowledge-based companies engaged in petrochemical-related technologies, attracting international visitors, investors, and business professionals.

The platform provides an opportunity to showcase Iran’s technological capabilities, foster economic partnerships, and enhance export initiatives.

Aligned with policies to boost technology exports and the global presence of knowledge-based enterprises, the Innovation and Prosperity Fund supports various empowerment initiatives, including sending Iranian trade and technology delegations to international events and hosting foreign delegations within the country.

Participation in the Shanghai exhibition is expected to open avenues for market development, foreign investment, forging new trade partnerships, and strengthening the global reputation of Iranian technological products.
