Iran and Russia scientific centers implement 15 joint research projects

Following a joint call by the National Scientific Foundation of Iran and the Russian Scientific Foundation, 97 joint proposals were presented by researchers of both countries in the three fields of life sciences, materials science and health sciences. 

A total of 15 proposals were approved after evaluation by the foundations. 

According to the information office of the Iranian Vice President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, the proposals were evaluated in such a way that after the initial review and the appointment of expert referees, each plan was judged simultaneously in Iran and Russia. 

The final evaluation was done in consideration of indices such as the outcome of the judgments, the necessity of the presence of foreign executives, added value for each country, the ability of the executives and colleagues, the importance of the issue from a national perspective, the achievements of the project, and the quality of the proposal, according to the center.

At the end, after the exchange of the evaluation results by the two foundations, 15 projects were approved, it concluded.
