Three knowledge-based products unveiled at Bushehr Science and Technology Park in southern Iran

Three knowledge-based products were unveiled at Bushehr Science and Technology Park with Iran’s Vice President for Science and Technology in attendance.
The first product, the Seraj Depth Measurement Device, is designed for vessels such as ships and boats to measure precise water depths beneath the hull, the vice presidency’s Information and Communication Center reported.
The device emits ultrasonic waves toward the seabed and processes the returning echoes from the ocean floor or moving objects, such as fish shoals, to calculate depth accurately.
Measurement data are displayed graphically for further analysis, ensuring safe navigation.
The second product, the IHHNV Disease Detection Kit, addresses a major threat to Iran’s aquaculture industry, particularly shrimp farming in the south.
The kit detects the Infectious Hypodermal and Hematopoietic Necrosis Virus (IHHNV), a highly dangerous virus listed by the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE), which can cause up to 90% mortality in infected shrimp farms.
The third product, the Flame Simulator, plays a critical role in safeguarding sensitive infrastructures.
Flame detectors, including UV and IR sensors, require periodic testing to ensure proper functionality, and this simulator enables accurate, documented testing to prevent fire hazards.
