The Center for International Science and Technology Interactions hosted a delegation from Hungary’s National Association of Innovative Clusters, IKOSZ, and the managers of the country’s ArchEnre cluster at the Iran House of Innovation and Tech, iHiT.

During their stay in Iran from May 10 to 12, 2022, the Hungarian delegation visited the INOTEX exhibition and held talks with some Iranian companies working in the field of energy and also met with the secretary of the water and energy technologies development headquarters of Iran’s vice-presidency for science and technology.
The delegation further held negotiations with a number of Iranian knowledge-based and innovative companies over opportunities for cooperation in energy efficiency, consumption optimization and renewable energy development.
In the meeting between the Hungarian delegation and the secretary of the water and energy technologies development headquarters of the science and technology deputy office of Iran’s vice-presidency for science and technology, the two sides agreed on drawing up a technological cooperation document following discussions over cooperation opportunities.
It should be noted that IKOSZ has 21 innovative clusters and has direct links with dozens of SMEs in Hungary that work in the fields of ICT, energy, construction, industrial machinery and production, medicine and medical equipment. ArchEnreg, as a cluster of IKOSZ, received the golden badge of innovative clusters from the European Union. Thanks to its links with IKOS, the Center for International Science and Technology Interactions is ready to inform the other side of the needs and opportunities for cooperation between competent Iranian companies and Hungarian businesses.
