Russians welcome Iranian technological products

The technological products of Iranian knowledge-based companies in the fields of telecommunications, communications and digital have been put on display at an exhibition in Moscow.

The IRIB reported from Moscow that the 34th International Exhibition of Telecommunications, Communications and Digital Technologies was held this year in Russia at a time when Iranian technological products were well received by the Russians.

The Russian telecommunications and digital industries have been going through tough times due to sanctions on the country and the exit of US and European and even Asian companies including those from Japan and South Korea. This has prompted the Russians to turn to other countries including Iran to supply their needs.

The exhibition was attended by 420 companies from 22 countries. No Western firms participated but two Iranian knowledge-based companies did: Nian Electronics and Safir. These Iranian companies attracted the attention of Russian state and private companies by showcasing their achievements in the fields of telecommunications and digital. Alexey Burotirov, Director of the Digital Development Center of the Ministry of Telecommunications and Communications of Russia, said on the sidelines of the exhibition that the new circumstances have put Russia in a position that it should turn to the technologies of neighboring countries in the fields of telecommunications and communications as a substitute for the West.

He added, “After seeing the capabilities of the Iranian companies, we concluded that Iran can satisfy a huge part of Russia’s needs because Iran’s access to advanced know-how and technologies can be the best option for cooperation with Russia, and fortunately, this cooperation is underway in the best possible way”.
Sangchouli, Marketing Manager of Nian Electronics also said that at the Moscow exhibition, important deals were signed for the purpose of supplying the technological products that Russia needs for its telecommunications and communications fields.
