Iranian company unveils AI-aided technology to cut long lines at airports

An Iranian start-up company has introduced a technology with the help of AI that can shorten the long lines at airports.  

The company, supported by the Iranian presidential office’s Center of International Science and Technology Cooperation (CISTC) and Iran National Innovation Fund (INIF), showcased the innovation in GITEX Global 2023 held in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates. 

The technology not only solves the problem of crowding and passenger dissatisfaction, but also increases the security of airports as well as entry and exit points with high accuracy of artificial intelligence. 

The technology is tipped to tackle the long-standing problem in Iran’s Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKIA) and give a facelift to the airport.
