Iranian experts produce industrial equipment hit by Western sanctions

Experts in an Iranian knowledge-based company have produced and commercialized some laboratory and industrial equipment in the country that have been targeted by Western embargoes. 

Mohammad Reza Fazeli, the director of the company, said the equipment are mainly related to the industries that work in high temperatures, pressure and speed in areas as vast as oil and petrochemical, chemical, paint, resin and glue, cement and steel, medical, glass, composites, rubber, polymer and laboratory industries.

Fazeli elaborated one of the products made by his company is stirred pressure reactors, whose most important application and task is “to create a suitable platform for chemical reactions according to a predetermined plan to create the desired product.”

He added his company has also designed and produced magnetic couplings used to transfer torque from a shaft or electric motor, which is widely used in transferring liquids.

Fazeli also pointed that among the most important equipment his knowledge-based company has produced are autoclaves, bioreactors, and two-propeller planetary mixers, which are mainly used in various industries, including laboratory, pharmaceutical and chemical industries.

The production will create job opportunities and save millions of dollars previously slated for importing the products.
