Nano-Structure Dressings for Diabetic Wound Healing

A knowledge-based company has developed special dressings using nanotechnology that help wounds heal faster. These smart dressings, which are marketed under the KNS brand, are designed for diabetic, burn, and surgical wounds and have a structure similar to natural skin. This innovation provides more effective treatment at a lower cost for patients.
According to the Communication and Information Center of the Presidential Vice-President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy, the knowledge-based company “Kanaan Nano-Structure” is implementing extensive development programs with the aim of becoming the leading manufacturer of smart dressings in Iran. These programs include expanding the sales network in the provinces of the country, research and development of three new products in the field of wound healing, development of skin care products, obtaining CE certification, and registering products in the Persian Gulf countries.
The company’s products include Tadapan (nanofiber dressing for diabetic wounds), Tadabern (nanofiber dressing for 2nd and 3rd degree burns), and Tadaserj (nanofiber dressing for surgical wounds). These dressings are offered with unique features such as simulating the fibrous structure of natural skin, high epithelialization power, and competitive prices compared to imported samples.
The company’s target market includes wound therapists, specialized wound clinics (diabetic, burn, and pressure ulcers), beauty clinics, and patients with acute and chronic wounds.
Kanaan Nanostructure Company began its activities in 2017 by establishing and conducting research, and launched its semi-industrial production line in 2013-2014. The company’s first commercial product was launched in March 2013, and plans are underway to launch an industrial production line and increase sales agencies in 2014.
