Armenia’s deputy health minister visits Iran House of Innovation & Technology in Tehran

Armenia’s Deputy Health Minister Armen Nazaryan has visited the Iran House of Innovation & Technology (iHiT) in the capital, Tehran.

Accompanied by delegates from several Armenian medicine manufacturing companies, Nazaryan visited the iHiT on Tuesday and was familiarized with Iran’s achievements and knowledge-based products in the field of health.
At the end of the visit, the delegation met with Hafezi, manager of the Office for the Attraction of Investment and Technology at the Center for Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Vice Presidency for Science.

During the meeting they exchanged viewpoints about cooperation in the fields of medical equipment, medicine, and joint production of knowledge-based products.

Nazaryan expressed optimism about efforts to synchronize executive regulations and protocols for the import of medicine in the two countries.

Hafezi, for his part, expressed readiness to facilitate joint production by Iranian and Armenian companies in the two countries’ free trade zones.
The two sides stressed the importance of improving cooperation in the fields of medical equipment and medicine and using the available trade and technological capacities.
