Iran says supports Iranian experts overseas to establish knowledge-based companies at home

Iranian experts and elites abroad can rely on financial and infrastructural assistance from the International Scientific and Technological Cooperation Development Organization to establish knowledge-based firms in Iran. 

The director of the human resources department of the organization, Seyyed Ali Hosseini, said a platform named Connect Plus has been launched to cooperate with Iranian experts in other countries, adding plans are underway to facilitate their return to Iran. 

He said, “Based on this project, elites and graduates who have already established a company abroad or have made a product and want to produce a similar product in Iran or establish a knowledge-based company in the country, will receive the initial and technological support from us.”

“Some infrastructural facilities and additional spaces will be provided to them in the technology parks in Pardis, Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Isfahan, Shiraz, etc.,” Hosseini further explained. 

According to the report, the other services provided by Connect Plus platform is for post-doctoral candidates, who will be linked up with universities and research centers for financial grants.
