Tehran to host some 3,000 foreign businesspeoole at Iran Expo 2024

The Iranian vice president’s office for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy is set to display the export capabilities of the country’s elite technologists in various fields to foreign and domestic visitors and facilitate exports of knowledge-based products. 

The 6th edition of Iran Expo is scheduled to open on Saturday and will run through Wednesday with nearly 3,000 businessmen and tradesmen from 90 countries across the world are expected to take part in the event. 

The 5-day exhibition, which showcases Iran’s exports capabilities in various technological and agricultural areas, primarily seeks to establish a link between Iranian producers and foreign purchasers. 

The Iranian vice president’s office says Iran is determined to display the country’s export capabilities of the technologists by knowledge-based companies, especially innovative Iranian products that can compete with similar foreign products. 

Mojtaba Ghadamgahi, the head of the International Business Development Office affiliated with the vice presidential office, said the exposition will introduce 1500 innovative products from 700 Iranian companies, adding, “Although Iran’s capacity is more than this number, we have been able to gather a fraction of top-rated companies to participate in this event.”
