Iranian firm produces video door phone using VOIP technology

An Iranian firm that uses technology to make electronic equipment at apartment buildings smarter has now drawn on voice over IP technology to produce video door phones. 

The video door phones, produced by Imen Pardazesh Madar Co., enable a user to see who is at the door and talk to him using his smart phone. 

Mohammad Hossein Valadkhani, the CEO of the company, said the domestically manufactured product comes with a price tag that is one fifth of foreign models.

“There are brilliant human resources in the field of electronics in our country,” Valadkhani said, “In our very company, we have been able to manufacture products that are produced nowhere in neighboring countries and have a high potential for exports, using expert youths.”
