Iranian company Fan Paya becomes a member of UN climate technology network

Fan Paya Company has become a member of the Climate Technology Centre and Network, CTCN, the implementation arm of the Technology Mechanism of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. 

Fan Paya is the 8th Iranian member of the CTCN. 

The members of the center have technical know-how related to the field of climate change. 

Fan Paya was established in 2011 as “Research Group of Air Pollution Control Technologies” in Tehran University. 

It later began working as a private company in the scientific and technological park of Tehran University in 2015. 

Given its record and potential, the knowledge-based company was able to mass produce equipment used for measuring and monitoring environmental pollutants. 

Fan Paya now makes 11 commercialized knowledge-based products that include portable dust meters for industrial chimneys, portable chimney gas meters, aerosol measuring devices, stationary systems for monitoring urban pollutants, etc. 

Meanwhile, Fan Paya does research and engineering work with regard to the maintenance of treatment  plants, controlling the release of air pollutants and producing biogas from waste.
