Iran attends medical equipment expo in India

The 34th Medical Device Exhibition has opened in the Indian capital, New Delhi, with Iran actively participating in the event.

Iranian knowledge-based companies are attending the exhibition under the aegis of the Center for International Science and Technology Interactions (CISTI) of the Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy Department of the Presidential Office.

The Iranian firms are showcasing their products along other countries such as the United States, Singapore and France.

The exhibit is one of the largest and most prestigious medical equipment expo in the world.

Major operators in the domain of medical and hospital equipment across the globe participate in the event.

Given the potential to enter India’s medical market, the CISTI runs pavilions at the exhibition for knowledge-based firms each year.

This year, too, Iran’s pavilion has been up and running since the event opened, displaying products manufactured by 6 Iranian companies.

The firms also get the chance to meet more than 1,000 hospital owners and top decision-makers in India’s medical sector.

Sellers and distributors of, and those setting prices for medical equipment in India are present at the expo.
