Historic milestone: Iran’s knowledge-based company dives into electric car production

In a significant milestone for Iran’s industrial landscape, a pioneering knowledge-based company has announced the successful design, manufacturing, testing, and repair of a wide array of electric motors and generators, marking a historic venture into the production of electric cars in the country.

Under the guidance of Mohammad Rostami, the managing director of the knowledge-based company, the new products have proven to be on par with international counterparts, showcasing top-notch quality.

The product range spans industrial three-phase electric motors, ranging from 5.5 to a remarkable 10,000 kilowatts, adhering meticulously to both international standards and the national standards set by Iran’s regulatory bodies.

Over the last three decades, Rostami’s knowledge-based company has witnessed substantial growth, evolving into a professional organization boasting 450 employees, including 174 specialists.

Its production capacity is awe-inspiring, generating over 1,200 megawatts annually, equivalent to a staggering 12,680 types of electric motors and generators.

In addition to receiving approval from the national standards of Iran and the European Union (CE), this company has also obtained ATEX approval from the Italian ECM company for explosion-proof electric motors and approval from the Bulgarian DEDAL company for smoke extraction electric motors.

As a result, all electric motors and generators produced by this company can be used without any geographical restrictions.
