Iranian products equip laboratories in Afghanistan, Iraq

At the 11th IranMade (made in Iran) Exhibition, numerous B2B meetings were held between Afghan and Iraqi delegations and Iranian knowledge-based companies, aiming to potentially lead to purchases or the establishment of production lines in these countries.

Emadoddin Askariyeh, representing the Iran Front Page news outlet as the organizer of the B2B Forum under the Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy at the exhibition, highlighted the presence of Iraqi and Afghan visitors.

Special spaces for commercial meetings were provided during the exhibition, dedicated to Afghan companies on the second day and Iraqi companies on the third.

Various sectors, primarily in medical fields, engaged in these meetings.

Askariyeh specified these included medical diagnostic labs, agriculture, industrial and chemical labs, construction, quality control, medical research, and associated research and development laboratories. Information about the exhibiting Iranian companies was made available to the visiting delegations to address their specific needs.

These delegations primarily consisted of laboratory officials seeking to equip their centers with Iranian-made equipment.

Some Afghan representatives had attended the exhibition the previous year and procured Iranian products, marking their second consecutive year of presence, potentially leading to further purchases or setting up production lines, subject to negotiations.

Mehdi Arman, the B2B section manager at the IranMade 2024 Exhibition, facilitated interactions between foreign and Iranian companies, providing a platform for mutual understanding and business discussions.

Due to January’s holiday limitations, only Iraqi and Afghan delegations participated this year.

Each foreign company engaged in 20-minute sessions with the Iranian exhibitors. For instance, among the five Iraqi companies present, the majority were focused on the medical sector.

Additionally, around 40 B2B sessions occurred between Iranian and Afghan companies on the exhibition’s second day, with a comparable number between Iranian and Iraqi companies on the third day, totaling more than 80 commercial sessions in the first three days of the exhibition.

Arman highlighted interactions between an Afghan quality control company and its Iraqi counterpart, where both exchanged experiences in their respective fields, emphasizing the success of such bilateral discussions.
