Africa’s innovator startups participate in iHiT event

Innovator startups of Africa take part in an event that was held at Iran House of Innovation and Technology in Kenya in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). The event has happened in several online sessions over the past 6 months so that over a hundred innovative ideas would compete. Finally, in the later days of the Persian month of Aban, an initial judgment session was held at iHiT with the top 6 ideas going to the final stage. 

More than 100 guests were invited to the event. 

The six finalist startups were from South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, and Tanzania. 

They elaborated their ideas, and after the judges gave their opinions, the top two startup teams were awarded a prize of $30k so that they would put their ideas into practice. 

The main purpose of those innovative ideas was to create a better life for people in Africa by prividing solutions to their fundamental problems.
