Intl. telecoms expo opens in Tehran

The 24th International Telecommunications, Information Technology and Digital Economy Exhibition has opened in the Iranian capital, Tehran, bringing together dozens of domestic and foreign companies as well as trade delegations from 9 countries.

The event, whose main theme is ‘digital overhaul and connectivity,’ kicked off in a ceremony attended by Iran’s Vice President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy.

The Iran Telecom exhibit is one of the country’s largest telecommunications events.

Part of the exhibition is allocated to showcasing knowledge-based products.

Companies taking part in the expo put on show their latest products in different areas, namely knowledge-based activities, innovation, sci-tech parks, software and hardware.

The exhibition will run till December 26 in the Iranian capital.
