Nicaragua FM calls for sci-tech cooperation with Iranian companies

The Nicaraguan foreign minister has urged Iranian knowledge-based companies to set up shops in his country, demanding technological cooperation with Tehran as well.

Denis Moncada made the comment while visiting the Iran House of Innovation and Technology (iHiT) in Tehran while being accompanied by Amirhossein Mirabadi, the head of the Iranian Center for International Scientific and Technological Interactions.

During the visit, Mirabadi touched upon the capabilities of the Iranian knowledge-based companies in different areas, namely agriculture, energy, health, medical equipment, entertainment, animation, etc., adding, “The Presidential Office’s Department for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy has special programs on its agenda to further boost international cooperation with knowledge-based companies.”

The top Nicaraguan diplomat, in turn, expressed content with the level of relations between the two countries, adding Iran’s knowledge-based achievements are a source of honor.

He demanded Iranian firms share with his country their experience in different domains, including fisheries, agriculture, renewable energies, health, etc.
