Iran knowledge-based companies export agricultural products to 30 countries

Agricultural products made by dozens of Iranian knowledge-based companies are much in demand by 30 countries across the world.

The secretary of Iran’s national exhibition of knowledge-based economy in agriculture and food security said out of 500 companies that applied to take part in the event, 47 companies were picked, all of which are exporting their products.

Javadi said the Iranian agricultural products are in a good shape in terms of grains production, but the country needs more investment on poultry as well as harvesting and planting.

He added there are 524 knowledge-based companies in Iran that are active in the field of agriculture, a number that indicates greater need for support in this field.

The exhibition showcased the latest achievements in the agriculture sector and unveiled four new products.
