Quality label of Iranian export products, IEQL, unveiled

The quality label of Iranian export products, IEQL, was unveiled in the presence of Iranian Vice President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy Roohollah Dehghani Firouzabadi. 

The unveiling happened on the sidelines of the second gathering of the export Club of Leading Exporters. 

The label is designated for knowledge-based companies and is meant to guarantee the quality of their products. 

IEQL stands for Iran Export Quality Label and it is also intended to build a culture of preventing the export of poor quality products and supporting the offering of after-sale services and the fulfillment of commitments by companies. 

In fact, the unveiling of this label is in line with one of the important goals of the Club of Knowledge-based Exporting Companies, which is to promote the Iranian brand in international markets. 

Many countries around the world are trying to improve their national brand, that is, to strengthen the image and global recognition of their country. 

This is aimed at creating a positive, attractive and powerful image of the country in the minds of people and international customers. 

This image may consist of concepts and factors like culture, history, nature, industry, tourism, products, services, etc. that distinguish a country from others. 

Countries usually use a variety of tools to promote their national brand. The tools include advertising, marketing, events, exhibitions, entering foreign markets, tourism development, supporting national industries, investment, public diplomacy, promotion of cultural interactions, and the use of media.
