New initiative to propel Iranian elites towards multi-level influence: Official

Ruhollah Dehghani, the Vice-President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy and head of the National Elite Foundation, unveiled the ambitious “Dana-ye Iran” plan at the 13th National Conference of Elites in Tehran.

The initiative aims to support talented students from underprivileged areas while fostering a platform for elite influence across diverse levels within society.

Dehghani emphasized the importance of nurturing the country’s elites as engines of progress, stressing the transformative programs already in motion, including educational visits to knowledge-based companies and addressing real-world problems through problem-oriented cores development plans.

Expressing a vision for the National Elite Foundation to evolve beyond a mere support organization into a policy-making institution, Dehghani emphasized the need to unite elites with the broader populace.

He urged a people-driven identification of elites, highlighting that the current criteria, such as entrance exams, only identify a fraction of the true elite pool.

The plan in question aspires to elevate the influence of elites across various domains, presenting a promising opportunity for the growth and empowerment of talented individuals at different societal echelons.
