International transportation facilitated using local infrastructure

An Iranian knowledge-based company has paved the way for provision of technological services to neighboring countries by developing the online infrastructure for international transportation.

Managing director of Navid Avaran Vista Tam knowledge-based company touched about the significance of smart services in the field of transportation saying “one of the vital issues in any country, is development and modernization of the international transportation system proportionate to the technological advances. The transportation and commodity delivery systems must be adapted to quick technological changes in a fashion that we do not lag behind the intense competition for exports of goods. In line with this, we managed to turn the Total infrastructure into a dynamic and progressive system.”

The smart platform for international freight transportation launched by this company is abbreviated as TOTAL. This system, which is an application upgraded to a platform, offers a variety of offline and online services to Iranian and foreign international transportation companies and also other exporters. The system monitors and controls the entire process of freight transportation, from before the loading until delivery of goods to the customers.

In this system, transportation companies can track their commodities live via a tracking code and through the platform and know exactly which phase of transfer, clearance and delivery their freight is through.
Another requirement of transportation companies is receiving an accurate financial report on the shipment of their commodity and its documentation at any moment.

This system enables the momentary delivery of such reports.
Customers can also refer to the platform and get information on different phases of transportation and other issues related to their freight. The platform also offers a wide range of other services to companies. According to managers of this knowledge-based firm, customers can both use the platform to obtain licenses and lease the platform.

After the knowledge-based company opened its office in Turkey, grounds are now ready for training of transportation companies of neighboring countries for work with the system.
Currently, Afghanistan and Russia, along with Turkey, are also being connected to the services offered by the knowledge-based platform.

The vice presidential office for science and technology has tried to improve technological service in terms of quality and quantity by supporting companies that offer relevant services and commercialization of knowledge-based products.
