President Raisi calls for paving the ground for keeping elites in Iran

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has described elites as an invaluable asset for Iran, saying supporting them is tantamount to investment in the future of the country. Raisi was speaking at the 13th session of the National Elite Foundation’s Board of Trustees.

President Raisi said the popular government has defined the issue of expanding ties and relations with the national elite network as a top priority and has worked out plans for this purpose.
President Raisi added that today, the issue of elites and supporting them is a key concern for the government, and this needs to be a prevalent view across all government bodies.
The president further underlined the need to prepare the ground for the activity of elites in different sectors, saying if prestigious scientific circles and professors and educated academics work with these circles, they can lay the groundwork for the activity of young talents.
President Raisi then stressed the need to give livelihood assistance to elites, saying, “We should not let our country’s elites abandon scientific research and knowledge-based work because of financial and livelihood problems.”
He noted that keeping elites in Iran calls for operational mechanisms.

President Raisi warned that the same global arrogance quarters that once encroached on the resources and wealth of nations are now focusing on attracting their elites and top talents.
President Raisi said the use of elites within Iran’s ruling system and focusing on encouraging elites to study in the fields of humanities and basic sciences are among useful programs and measures adopted by the National Elite Foundation.
