Iranian firm works to reduce diseases in plants

An Iranian firm is offering services to prevent plant diseases by analyzing data and determining when it is best to apply pesticides without running the risk of harming plantations. 

Fanavaran Vanda Atlas Kia Company is mapping geographical spots where plantations are at a high risk of diseases by analyzing meteorological data. 

The firm uses satellite imagery and other data to determine when it is best to use pesticides to enhance the quality of the plants and prevent the overuse of pesticides. 

The firm has received the sponsorship of the Iranian Vice Presidency for Science and Technology to achieve the industrial production of its products and services.
