Iranian technological VP praises predecessor as “real patriot”

Iran’s Vice President for technological and Scientific Affairs Rouhollah Dehghani Firouzabadi has said the knowledge-based production increase law is a key achievement of the tenure of his predecessor Sorena Sattari. 

Dehghani made the comment at a ceremony meant to thank Sattari for his services. 

He noted that all such services and efforts are a sign of patriotism. 

He described Sorena Sattari and his late father Mansour Sattari as real patriots who have done all they could to elevate Iran’s standing in the world. 

The Iranian vice president said a real patriot should devote all his or her energy to resolve a country’s problems. 

The former director of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran was also present at the meeting. 

Ali Akbar Salehi said Sorena Sattari was a student of prestigious Sharif University and acted like a true patriot during his tenure as Iran’s vice president for technological and scientific affairs. 

He said Sattari set lofty goals for Iran’s technological biome and the concept of innovation and also sought to pave the way for achieving such goals. Sorena Sattari was the vice president for technological and scientific affairs for 9 years and was the person who helped launch Iran’s technological biome.
