Iran publishes book on sic-tech achievements in 2023

The Center for International Science and Technology Interactions of the Iranian Presidential Office’s Department for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy has published a book named “A Biref Review of Iran’s Science, Technology and Innovation in 2023.”

The publication of the book is in line with upgrading the country’s soft power and implementing the Comprehensive International Scientific Relations Document approved by the Supreme Cultural Revolution Council, which is pertinent to the dissemination of Iran’s key scientific and technological accomplishments in the international arena.

By pursuing national development policies with a focus on the realization of a knowledge-based economy, Iran has, compared to other oil-rich countries in the region, managed to create the most diverse economy with minimum dependence on oil and gas revenues.

In keeping with the national innovation system, Iran keeps moving toward an economy based on science and innovation in a bid to enhance its output capacity, encourage international cooperation on technological exchanges, and participate more actively in innovative activities to help boost economic growth and sustainable development.
