Iran, Algeria forge technological ties with bilateral agreement

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi led a delegation to Algeria, including the Vice President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy. 

Their visit revolves around participating in the gas-exporting countries’ summit and engaging in official bilateral meetings. 

It is reported that during the delegation’s second day in Algeria, joint meetings between the high-ranking delegations of both countries will take place. 

Among the significant documents to be signed are those related to science and technology cooperation. 

Ruhollah Dehghani, the Vice President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy, leads the Science and Technology Committee. 

His role involves overseeing negotiations on enhancing communication and cooperation in science and technology between Iran and Algeria. 

An upcoming meeting with Yassin Al-Mahdi Waleed, Algeria’s Minister of Economy, Knowledge, Start-ups, and Small Companies, is also on the agenda. 

This collaborative effort aims to strengthen ties and foster advancements in both nations’ knowledge-based economies.
